Every NFU initiative starts organically, as the seed of an idea shared amongst fans on barstools or online. Maybe it's how to best decrease game delays in Major League Baseball, or maybe it's just a general gripe about skyrocketing ticket prices.
Any NFU member can create a Discussion or Debate on our Forum (coming soon). Fellow users can comment, share, and upvote posts, naturally spreading topics of common interest.
A few celebrated causes or hotly debated issues will be elevated to an official union-wide vote. These will be rare and meaningful and you will not be spammed about them. Only active NFU members in good standing will be afforded a vote. Your vote is your voice and even an "I abstain" is invaluable to the process.
If an official Vote results in a super-majority of NFU members supporting a particular outcome, the NFU's board will mobilize to make that outcome a reality. How exactly that happens will naturally vary, as different problems in different leagues will require different solutions. But in all cases, this will involve putting real people - fan representatives - in the room with owners, commissioners, and players to make things better for the fans.
Together, we will be the most powerful organization in all of sports.
